The Payment Request Process
HowToPay’s “Payment Request” system allows clients to request payments conveniently via Email, SMS, or our Digital Wallet Mobile app. Businesses use this system as it offers global, localized payment options, alongside access to our mobile apps and a vast network of users.
How Our System Works:
With over 20 years of experience in online payments, HowToPay’s advanced system enables businesses to fulfill KYC (Know Your Customer) obligations before sharing payment details, ensuring data privacy.
The “Payment Request” Process:
1. The business, using an API or website, enters client details and the payment amount into our system.
2. The client receives a notification with a payment link via Email, SMS, or the Mobile app.
3. The client clicks the link and uploads their ID to our system (if not already done).
4. The client’s ID is verified online within seconds by a KYC provider.
5. Once approved, the client receives an email with unique payment information and a Pay ID reference number.
6. The client completes the payment, including the Pay ID number, and receives a receipt for the payment.
7. The receiving client is informed of the completed transaction as soon as payment has been received.
This simple process is connected to a global network of banks, allowing Digital Wallet business users to accept payments worldwide. Clients retain full control over the process, with no banking or credit card information stored on our servers.
